We are 501(c) nonprofit founded to support moms in the ocean through all stages of motherhood.

Our mission is to get moms back in the ocean, to encourage and support their love for surfing, and to help new-to-surfing moms find a community on their beach.

We host regular meet-ups and partner with local surf schools to offer lessons and coaching.

Surf & Hang: Carolina Beach

international Surf Day Celebration

  • Surfrider Foundation’s International Surf Day Celebration!

    June 20th at Stone Street , access 29

    7-10am

    We will start with a light beach clean up and a guided pre-surf stretch with Kelly from Mermaid Surf. 

    Cape Fear Surfrider community volunteers and members will be able to sign up for beginner surf lessons with Justin from Sweetwater Surf School between 8-10am. 

    WB Surf Mamas and Mermaid Surf are welcome to bring their community members for a casual group surf.

    Our incredible ocean and surf themed artisans, Mud by Meg, Board Meeting, and Lucky Human Co will be there to advertise and sell their art

skate & hang: 3rd fridays

  • Throughout Winter & Fall

    Every 3rd Friday of the Month

    4-6pm

    Bring your helmets! We will be having a skate and hang day at one of our local parks!

  • Collecting Gently used and new kids swimwear for new swimmers at nsea swim. Drop off at any surf mama event or contact us via email for pickup
